Campus Ministry
Fordham encourages students and faculty to explore the spiritual dimensions of human life. Toward this end, Campus Ministry provides opportunities for worship, retreats, spiritual counseling, social involvement and fellowship to students of all faiths.
In addition, Campus Ministry's Global Outreach program sends student volunteers to areas of need around the United States and the world.

University Health Services
All students have access to health centers on each campus. The centers provide free treatment and medical supplies at minimal cost. The Student Emergency Rescue Group (SERG), an emergency medical service registered with New York State, works in conjunction with the Health Center to provide emergency medical attention at the Rose Hill campus 24 hours a day. The Health Center at Rose Hill is located in the annex of Thebaud Hall, (718)-817-4160.
At Lincoln Center, the Health Center is in room 203 of the Residence Hall, (212) 636-7160. The University also has a contract with St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, which is located one block south of the Lincoln Center campus, for emergency attention.
Campus Counseling Centers
Fordham's counseling centers on the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses are staffed by experienced psychologists, psychology interns and consulting psychiatrists. The centers provide services that range from personal counseling to vocational and educational testing and evaluation. All students are encouraged to use these resources to help them adjust to the demands of college life, to make informed decisions about educational and vocational objectives, or simply to enhance their experience at Fordham. The Counseling Center is located in Dealy Hall, room 226, (718) 817-3725, on the Rose Hill campus and in the Lowenstein Building, room 503, (212) 636-6225, on the Lincoln Center campus.
Career Planning and Placement
Giving students professional help in preparing for the life/career planning process, the Career Planning and Placement Center offers workshops on career-related issues, such as rsum writing, career exploration, interview preparation and job-search strategies. Students work individually with counselors to determine their areas of interest and to facilitate a student's job search. Other career placement services include Fordham's unique and broad-based internship program, an on-campus recruiting program, job-postings and contacts with an influential alumni network of New York executives. Peace Corps Advisor
The director of career planning and placement also serves as Peace Corps liaison officer and, as such, is the primary contact for students seeking advice and information concerning volunteer service with the Peace Corps. Ram Van Service
Covering the short distance between its two main campuses, Fordham Ram Vans provide shuttle transportation services between Lincoln Center and Rose Hill on the Ram Van. A schedule is posted in the lobby of the McGinley Center at Rose Hill and in the lobby of the Lowenstein Building at Lincoln Center. Student Support Services
Student Support Services is a University-wide program that offers support services to students to ensure their academic success, as measured by graduation from Fordham and acceptance into graduate school or a profession. Offices located on the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses offer
individual or group tutorial sessions, special interest workshops, seminars, academic advisement in conjunction with the various departments, counseling and assessment either by trained special services staff or referral to the University Counseling Center or School Consultation Center, financial-aid advisement, preparation seminars for graduate school examinations, skill development workshops, and other services as needed.
Special attention is directed toward assuring the support for handicapped and learning disabled students by providing readers, typing services, special tutorials, tape recorders, special examination sessions, the Kurzwell reading machine and other specific services tailored to individual need.

Disabled Student Services
The policy of Fordham University is to treat students with disabilities in a nondiscriminatory manner for all educational purposes, including admissions, programs, activities, and courses. The Office of Disabled Student Services was established to ensure implementation of this policy and to assist students with disabilities in becoming as independent as possible.
Services include library assistance, registration assistance, proctoring of exams, and community referrals. Students are responsible for arranging other services, such as attendant care, mobility training, transportation, and special sources of financial aid. Students should make their needs known to their professors or to the Office of the Dean of Student Services, which will act as an intermediary when necessary. Office of International Students
The office provides advisors for foreign students on the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses who can answer questions about immigration, student visas, employment, and related matters. The foreign student advisor also serves as a liaison between the University and various agencies that sponsor international students in the United States, such as embassies, consulates, and the Institute for International Education.
