The American Historical Association publishes a list of available jobs every month in the journal Perspectives. In addition, job postings are updated weekly on the AHA web page, www.historians.org. You will need a username and password to access the site. If you are not a member of the AHA and do not have a username and password, it may be possible to use the department's user name to access the site.

The Department of History also maintains a list of job advertisements, ranging from tenure-track jobs to temporary replacements, that we receive from schools in the area and across the nation.

For Ph.D. students searching for advice on how best to prepare yourself for the job search, there is a binder called "Getting a Job in Academia" available in Dealy 615.
