Engaging Students in Humanitarian Action (ESHA)

Conference

The conference is being held at Fordham University’s Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, NY. Approximately 150 undergraduate students from 20 member institutions of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) are coming together for this conference in an aim to broaden their knowledge and understanding on global humanitarian initiatives. The participants will have an opportunity to attend plenaries hosted by expert speakers on a broad range of topics, as well as participate in breakout sessions to engage in constructive dialogue on international humanitarian aid work.

The main plenary sessions are being held at the beginning of the conference and all participants will assemble at O'Keefe Commons, located on the first floor of O'Hare Walsh Residence Hall.  At the end of these plenary sessions, the participants will break into designated syndicates and participate in group conversations on specific topics and related issues. These breakout sessions will be located at the adjacent Keating Hall.

An interactive map of Fordham’s Rose Hill campus can be obtained here. Please see the program outline for a complete list of breakout sessions and plenary topics.
