Office of Disability Services: Information for New Students

The Office of Disability Services (ODS) works closely with students, faculty, and University administrators to ensure appropriate academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title III of the Americans and Disabilities Act of 1990. Students who register with ODS will complete the same coursework as their peers. Registration with ODS does not become part of a student's transcript. Please call or email the main office with any questions you may have at: 718-817-0655, or [email protected].

Please note that students are not eligible to receive any academic accommodations until they have formally registered with ODS and completed their intake appointment. Accommodations are not made retroactively, so it is best to contact ODS to begin this process during the summer before entering Fordham.
