  • Dr. Kristine Angela Uy Kintanar, was born in Cebu City, the Philippines. She completed her Artus Baccalaureus in Economics with a minor in French Studies at the Jesuit Ateneo de Manila University in 1998. Upon graduation, Dr. Kintanar joined the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), the national economic planning agency of the Philippine Government, as a junior economist in the National Planning and Policy Staff. Dr. Kintanar received her doctoral degree in Economics from Fordham University in 2009 and, since 2004, has taught Basic Macroeconomics, Business Statistics, Statistics Decision Making, Economics of Latin America and Environmental Economics at the undergraduate level at Fordham University. She's also an avid watercolorist, the worst amateur photographer in the world and, most importantly, a Liverpool Football Club fan.
