Where are you working now?
I am working as a senior auditor at the New York City Economic Development Corporation.

What was the best part of your program?
The best part of the M.S.F. program was the opportunity to choose our electives and specialize in distinct topics. I chose subjects with a combination of risk management, investment management and investment banking, which allowed me to become more well-rounded and gain knowledge in different areas of finance.

I am working as an investment analyst at Infusive Asset Management.

Why did you choose the Gabelli School M.S.F. program?
Fordham provides students with great access to reach the front line of the real finance world. Students are given numerous opportunities to learn from alumni, which is very meaningful.

What was the best part of your experience at the Gabelli School?
Met my mentor who introduced me to the equity investment industry.

Were you involved in any activities while at Fordham?
I was the president of Fordham Chinese Business Society, which gave me the opportunity to be actively involved in many different events.

Where are you working now?
I’m a securities analyst at MIBIT Capital Holdings Company.

What’s the biggest advantage you gained from the Gabelli School M.S.F. program?
What I learned at the Gabelli School about financial modeling and valuation, among other disciplines, is directly applicable to my work. Not only has it allowed me to bring valuable and important skills to my company, but it also required less on-the-job training from my employer.

What was your favorite class in the program?
Emerging Markets with Professor Cheah. I really enjoyed his teaching style and his ability to draw on his vast work experience at the Singapore Monetary Authority. The subject matter is current, real world, and relevant to our lives and careers as global investors.

I’m an Investment Banking Analyst at RBC.

What was a surprising benefit of the M.S.F. program?
I received support from my academic advisor and the international student office. That really helped me succeed in the program.

What was your favorite class in the program?
Emerging Markets. It encouraged independent thinking and allowed me to polish my presentation skills.

What’s the biggest advantage you gained from the Gabelli School M.S.F. program?
The M.S.F. provided me with solid training in finance to succeed at my current and previous internships, including Viscogliosi Brothers, Ocean Capital Investment Bank, and Royal Dutch Shell.

The opportunity to meet students from all over the world.

What was your favorite class?
Financial Modeling. It helped me learn extremely valuable skills that apply to my career.

What kinds of activities enriched your experience in the M.S.F. program?
I served as vice president of corporate relations of the Management Consulting Club, participated in the University Trading Challenge, and was a member of the Finance Society.
