Recruiting Programs

Fordham's Career Planning Center offers a variety of recruitment options to accommodate specific hiring needs and timelines of different employers: our On-Campus Recruitment program in both Fall and Spring semesters; our Resume Advance program in the Fall semester; and our Resume Collect programs three times a year.

On-Campus Recruitment

We invite you to download Recruiting the Fordham Lawyer [PDF] the invitation to our 2015 Fall Recruitment Program (EIW, Fall On Campus and Resume Collect Programs).

Many employers begin the process of their summer and permanent hiring by conducting time-saving on-campus interviews. Each Spring and Fall, the CPC organizes an extensive On-Campus Interview Program, attracting a multitude of employers to Fordham's conveniently located Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan. Our roster of on-campus employers encompasses law firms, accounting firms, corporations, government agencies, and public interest organizations.

We have also created a recruitment program, The Resume Advance Program, for employers from outside the tri-state area. We encourage you to view our brochures highlighting the Fordham Connection in selected cities (Note: Brochures are in PDF format.):

We invite public sector employers to view the Public Interest Resource Center's Guide for Public Service Employers [PDF].

The On-Campus Interview Program is divided into two different sections, each with its own distinctive focus:

Resume Advance Program

The Career Planning Center designed the Resume Advance Program to introduce employers from outside the tri-state area to the high-caliber Fordham student body.

This program enables employers who may be visiting the New York City area during Fordham's Early Interview Week (August 4-6, 10-12, 2015) to receive resumes from Fordham Law students without making the commitment in advance to interview on campus. Through the Resume Advance Program employers receive resumes from interested Fordham Law students; employers then have the option to schedule a visit to meet with as many or as few students as they wish.

Employers participating in the Resume Advance Program incur no registration fee, have 100% selection of the students whom they interview, and have the flexibility to review resumes prior to committing to visiting campus to interview as many or as few students as they want.

We encourage you to view our brochures highlighting the Fordham Connection in selected cities (Note: Brochures are in PDF format.):

Resume Collect Program

The CPC offers formal Resume Collect Programs three times a year (January, September and October). Employers receive application materials from interested students and invite selected students to their offices for an interview. There is no fee to participate, and employers may indicate the specific application materials they require (e.g., cover letters, transcripts and/or writing samples).
