Alissa joined the Fordham Law Library in September 2008, as a reference librarian. She obtained her law degree from the University of British Columbia, in Canada, and worked in Vancouver as a litigator for over 3 years. She obtained an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and an MLS from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She interned at the Hansard Society and the Royal Institute for International Affairs in London, as well as the National Museum of American History in Washington, DC. She was a firm librarian at Baker Botts LLP in Washington DC, before joining Fordham. Alissa's interests include corporate, securities and banking law as well as Chinese law and politics. Alissa is the Empirical Research Specialist in the library, assisting faculty with empirical research design and analysis and is also the Head of Reference.
