Amanda K. Kramer

Adjunct Professor of Law

Amanda Kramer has been an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York since 2008, where she serves as the Office’s Human Trafficking Coordinator and prosecutes criminal organizations as a member of the Office’s Violent and Organized Crime Unit.  Amanda also prosecuted corporate and white collar fraud as a member of the Office’s Complex Frauds Unit from 2009 through 2011.

Before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Amanda practiced litigation at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler and Weil Gotshal.  From 2004 through 2005, Amanda served as a law clerk to the Honorable Loretta A. Preska, Chief United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.  She is a 2003 graduate of the Fordham University School of Law and a 1997 graduate of the University of Maryland.  Amanda has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School teaching Advanced Trial Advocacy since 2014.
