Summer Session Welcomes Visiting Students

Each summer, Fordham welcomes hundreds of visiting students who attend colleges and universities throughout the United States and overseas.

Some of these students call New York City or the tri-state area home. Others come to visit us just for the summer. Fordham welcomes and appreciates these students.

Fordham offers classes that meet regularly online or in-person for five weeks and online classes that meet for 10 weeks asynchronously. Find day or evening options at two NYC campuses and online.

    Session III (including weekend intensive classes): May 28 - August 6, 2024

    Visiting students application deadlines (early registration is encouraged to ensure your spot in popular classes):
    Session I: Thursday, May 16
    Session II: Thursday, June 13

  • There are no pre-approvals by Fordham required though we do recommend you work with your school to verify that credits taken at Fordham will transfer. Payment is due at the time of registration.

    Visiting students application deadlines (early registration is encouraged to ensure your spot in popular classes):

  • The undergraduate tuition rate for 2024 is $1,050 per credit. Most classes are three or four credits. Though there are fees for lab, film, visual arts and language courses, there are no additional registration or technology fees.

    Refunds: All course-related tuition and fees are fully refundable until the first day of class. Thereafter, there is a graduated refund policy articulated here.

  • On the student access portal, go to your Student tab, and look for a box called “Official Transcript Online Ordering and Enrollment Verification.” Click the link in that box. You will then be taken to a National Student Clearinghouse landing page where you can request a transcript. Both electronic (PDF) and mail (regular/express) delivery options are available. A fee may apply, depending on the delivery option chosen.
