Law Clerk Program

Fordham Law School’s Law Clerk Program gives employers the opportunity to hire upper-level J.D. students during the academic year on a part-time basis.

Small to midsize law firms and in-house legal departments alike find that upper-level Fordham J.D. students provide high-quality, dependable assistance on a wide range of legal work. In turn, our J.D. students benefit greatly from the ability to gain real-world experience, receive exposure to various areas of law, and begin to build a network.

Each employer is different, and hourly commitments vary. During the academic year, upper-level J.D. students may work up to 20 hours per week. The employer sets an hourly salary.
