III. APPLICATION FOR UNIVERSITY-SPONSORED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Financial Aid Deadline: January 2 (Matteo Ricci Fellowship Deadline: April 1)

Fordham University offers the several forms of merit-based financial assistance. Students who want to apply for loans should contact Fordham University's Office of Financial Aid, Thebaud Hall, 441 East Fordham Road, Bronx, NY 10458-5161, telephone 718/817-3800. University-sponsored financial aid, with the exceptions of High School Teachers Enrichment Fellowships and the Matteo Ricci Fellowship, is only available to full-time students. Students submitting this application will be considered for all forms of financial assistance that are available in the department to which they are applying. Financial aid is awarded on an annual basis, and these awards pertain to the beginning of each academic year. If your file was not completed by then or you deferred admission to a later date, you must re-apply for financial aid. If awarded financial assistance, you must agree to devote full time to graduate study and the duties involved in your appointment. Engagement in any other regular occupation requires approval of the dean.

Academic year/semester(e.g. 2008 Fall) ___________________________

Is there any special type of merit-based financial assistance for which you are particularly qualified and wish to apply (i.e., Regular Assistantships have no special requirements and are based solely on academic merit.  Global Markets Assistantships require international business experience. Public Service Assistantships require US citizenship.  Arrupe Fellowships have international development work experience and language requirements, Matteo Ricci Fellowships are restricted to students nominated by int'l non-profit relief, development, and policy advocacy organizations, the UN and its Agencies, Country Missions to the UN, and New York Consulates; Seix-Dow Fellowships are restricted to students of Hispanic origin; Peace Corps Fellowships are designated solely for returned Peace Corps Volunteers.)?
