ECGA 5510 INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC POLICY

Description: This core IPED course uses economic methodology to examine the interaction between political and economic institutions in the determination of international economic policy. Topics covered may include: protectionism, strategic trade policy, economic sanctions, trade wars and macroeconomic coordination. This course is designed to be taken in tandem with POGA 6640 Politics of Global Economic Relations. The prerequisite for this course is ECGA 5011 or its equivalent.
