Basic Algebra and Geometry

All incoming IPED students are expected to know algebra and geometry at the US High School level. A short review of this material is contained in chapters 1 and 2 of Edward T. Dowling, Mathematics for Economists, Schuam Outline Series, McGraw-Hill Book Company.

Elementary Statistics

While no previous training in statistics is required, incoming IPED students who wish to be better prepared for their quantitative analysis course may wish to review the materials in chapters 1, 2, and 3 of Dominick Salvatore, Statistics and Econometrics, Schuam Outline Series, McGraw-Hill Book Company.
