The HTML version of the manual was produced from the TeX version by the program TTH (TeX to HTML), http://hutchinson.belmont.ma.us/tth/. I then added the graphics, so this is a very complete version of the manual indeed. A few of the mathematical symbols (glyphs) are not so clear. If you are running on a Mac, you need to go to the View menu and make sure that the "character set" is set to "Western Mac Roman", which is not the default. The manual may look better with Netscape or with Internet Explorer, depending on your platform; the problem is in rendering the glyphs.
