The Inter-Religious Council brings together students, faculty and administration from different religions to share information about the similarities and differences among their respective religious traditions, as well as to build mutual respect and understanding among religious communities. The Council acts as a catalyst for interreligious understanding by: sponsoring Inter-Religious programs and events, providing speakers from various religions, learning about the causes of interreligious conflict so as to work toward Inter-Religious understanding and harmony, informing council members about issues and problems concerning religious communities, and supporting Inter-Religious events held by other groups.
