Father Phil begins his third year in service to Campus Ministry at Fordham University and as Master of Jogues Hall at Martyrs Court. In addition to leading Campus Ministry, he also serves the Latino Community at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church in the Bronx. He was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood on June 9th, 2001 in Baltimore, Maryland. Fr. Phil can be found most week days joining students for lunch in the Market Place and enjoys making Italian dinners for student groups of all sizes.

More: Gil joined Campus Ministry ten years ago although it seems like yesterday.  She joined the staff after many years of varied managerial and secretarial experiences. She returned to school after starting a family with her husband Jorge, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, summa cum laude, from Iona College in 1998. The experience was so energizing that it convinced her to find a position in an academic environment. Gil has been very active in community service throughout her life and continues to seek ways to live her faith by providing opportunities to meet and work with our neighbors in the Bronx.   Gil is devoted to her three children: Lauren, Gabrielle, and Alexander FCRH '14. She truly enjoys working with the students, staff, and faculty and is looking forward to another exciting year!

Originally from Newton, MA, Conor has spent the last six years as the Associate Director of Campus Ministry at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. At Fairfield, Conor was responsible for directing international service and immersion programs, faith-based justice efforts and mission and identity programming. Prior to working at Fairfield University, Conor worked as a Campus Minister at Boston College and also at Boston College’s Center for Ignatian Spirituality. Conor spent two years in rural Belize with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps as a teacher and DRE and speaks Belizean Creole, similar to Jamaican Patois. A frequent traveler, Conor has visited over 30 countries and 6 of the 7 continents. Conor enjoys learning about other cultures and traditions, and has a deep respect and affinity for interfaith dialogue. When he’s not in Campus Ministry or traveling, Conor can most likely be found in Queens Court (where he is a resident minister), running in the Botanical Gardens, tinkering with his motorcycle or taking in a rhythm and blues show in Manhattan.

More: John is a native of Scranton, PA and a graduate of The University of Scranton holding a degree in Media and Information Technology and Art History. He arrives at Fordham after most recently serving as Housemaster at Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Maryland counseling students academically, spiritually and emotionally. Prior to that, John was the Coordinator for Student Service at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Erin serves in her 2nd year at Fordham directing Retreat Ministry and Christian Life Communities.  She also serves as a Resident Minister in Martyrs' Court.  Before joining the Fordham community, Erin was the Resident Minister for Spirituality at St. John's University in Queens.  She is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, where she majored in Foreign Policy, and Boston College, where she completed graduate studies in Pastoral Ministry and Global Social Work.  After college, Erin served as a 4th Grade Teacher in Chicago through Amate House, a young-adult faith-based volunteer program, and then worked with an adult mental health independent-living organization in Maryland.  Outside the office you can find Erin in LaLande Hall, where she lives as a Resident Minister or at the pool swimming, jogging around campus, or reading a book on Martyrs' Lawn.  When she is not around, it is most likely because of her love of travel (she has been to about 30 countries!) and learning about other languages and cultures.  Erin enjoys working with Fordham students as they seek to grow in their faith and explore who it is they want to be and what they want to do in the world.

More: Robert is in histwenty-third year as Director of Music for the Fordham University Church and Director of the Fordham University Choir. More: Lisandro is beginning his seventh year in Campus Ministry and his first year as an Assistant Director for Faith Formation and Sacraments. Born and raised in Ecuador, Lisandro studied Philosophy at the Pontifical Catholic University in Ecuador. He has spent four years studying Theology and Languages in Rome, Italy. He came to the United States in 1998 and obtained his bachelor's degree in Science from St. Francis College in Brooklyn. He worked as a Special Ed. Teacher in Brooklyn while taking graduate courses in Bilingual Special Education at Long Island University. He spent three years working as a Liturgical Coordinator at Gonzaga University in Washington, where he earned a Master's degree in Pastoral Ministry. He earned a second Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and Personnel Services with temporal New York State Certification at Fordham University. Lisandro loves traveling nationally & internationally, working out, playing tennis and guitar and listening to music. More: A native of Evansville, IN, Paul is a Ph.D. student in Systematic Theology at Fordham and the director of the Gloria Dei Choir.  His research interests include the doctrine of God and theological anthropology as viewed through the lens of science.  Specifically, he explores how traditional questions of divine causality, the God-world relationship, theosis, and worship fit within the evolutionary and cosmological framework presented by scientific inquiry.  Paul is a graduate of Boston College where he studied English, liturgy, liturgical music, and music composition.  Prior to coming to Fordham, Paul served for four years as the Director of Worship at St. Mary Catholic Church in Evansville, IN. Sister Mary Catherine received her MS in Counseling from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. She has worked for the past nine years as the Vocation Director for her congregation, the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, assisting women in discerning God’s call for them in their life. Sr. Mary Catherine presently ministers as a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine at North Central Bronx Hospital. She is a worshiping member of our Fordham Community, has lead the Women’s Spirituality Retreat for the past 5 years and can often be found at Praise and Worship on Wednesday nights.

More: Carol is beginning her second year at the Lincoln Center campus after working for eight years at the Westchester campus.  Carol is a trained Spiritual Director and a member of Spiritual Directors International and continues to offer the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Living (SEEL) Retreat to faculty, students and staff. More:  Anthony Rispo is a musical virtuoso and an up-and-coming concert artist. He began formal studies at a young age with Donald Dumler then continued further training with Dr. Matthew Lewis at The Juilliard Pre-College Division. Anthony currently coaches with Todd Wilson.
Aside from performing organ literature, Rispo enjoys improvising and composing. Anthony also enjoys music of other styles; his current mission in music is to capture and incorporate these alternate styles with the use of classical organ technique.

Rispo has had the opportunity of performing at various venues, including: Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA, The Church of The Heavenly Rest on Fifth Avenue as “Rising Young Artist” for the opening concert of The International Year of The Organ, and at West Point Military Academy’s Cadet Chapel where he received a complimentary award in performance. He performed Samuel Barber’s “ToccataFestiva” with The Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra for the commemoration of Barber’s 100th birthday.

​Anthony has taken part in several summer programs at some of the leading music schools in the country, including: Westminster Choir College, Oberlin Conservatory, and Yale University. Rispo has also studied abroad at some of the most well-known churches in Paris, France.

Alex Lupo is native born Jersey boy who was raised in Weehawkenand now commutes to Lincoln Center, the heart of Manhattan. At Fordham, he is a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Italian. In addition, he is also a retreat leader and enjoys leading retreats up at Goshen. And to sum it all up, music is his true passion and forpure fun you can catch him playing the guitar, drums, or piano almost anywhere and everywhere.
