Stephen McGowan is the newest addition to the Global Outreach staff, coming on board in February of 2010 as the Assistant Coordinator of Global Outreach. In this position, Stephen provides administrative support to the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center programs.

Stephen is a recent graduate of Fordham University, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Social Work at Fordham’s Westchester campus. During his tenure as an undergraduate student, Stephen was a member of the ’06-’07 El Salvador, ’07-’08 Nashville, and ’08-’09 Mexico teams. Stephen also served as a member of the GO! Board from ’07-’09 and in his final semester led the ’09-’10 New York City project. “There is no way for me to honestly say what my best experience with Global Outreach has been. Through all of it, from the retreats to the fundraisers, and from the long days of volunteering to the powerful late night reflections, I can probably pick out a thousand moments that will be imprinted in my mind forever. What I have learned is that these projects change people, and to now be working to give other students that opportunity is exactly what I want to be doing at this point in my life.”
