"GO Adirondacks gave us all the chance to escape from the city and immerse ourselves in a unique culture so different from our own but right in our backyard. I came away with a new found understanding and respect for the Native American groups of the past and present and learned how much of the resources around us we take for granted. The Ndakkina Center is an amazing cultural organization that keeps the stories and traditions of these people alive and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to help better their facilities and educate myself in the process." -Kellen Wilson, Gabelli School '09
