The community will welcome you with open arms as they have welcomed past Fordham teams.  The days are filled with intense labor at construction sites, meetings with various community members, and local dinners and potlucks.  The group partners with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes in the rural community of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.  The team learns about Habitat's mission of ensuring adequate and affordable housing for constituent families.  Past teams have successfully helped to build several homes with Habitat, as well as finding a second home in the welcoming community and picturesque setting of Waynesburg.

"The community will welcome you with such warmth and hospitality that you will feel right at home.  Doing hard labor may seem daunting but you will be working with Habitat for Humanity which provides affordable housing to those who need it.  You will be working with and for the community and your hard work won't go unnoticed.  They will feed you with delicious home cooked meals and you might not want to leave at the end of the trip."
