Theresa Coletti Theresa Coletti is Professor of English at the University of Maryland College Park. She is the author of Naming the Rose: Eco, Medieval Signs, and Modern Theory (Cornell UP 1988) and Mary Magdalene and the Drama of Saints: Theater, Gender, and Religion in Late Medieval England (U of Pennsylvania Press, 2004), and many articles in edited collections and journals such as Speculum, Studies in the Age of Chaucer, ELH, Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, MLN, and the Chaucer Review. A former fellow of the American Council on Education and recent recipient of an NEH senior fellowship, she teaches and writes on medieval drama, medieval women’s literature and spirituality, and the medieval past’s intersections with modern and postmodern literature and culture.
