Nature Network is a collaboration among organizations dedicated to nurturing a healthy natural environment in the NJ-NY-CT Metropolitan region. New York Restoration Project
Renowned entertainer Bette Midler founded the nonprofit New York Restoration Project (NYRP) in 1995 with the belief that clean and green neighborhoods are fundamental to the quality of life and that every community in New York City deserves an oasis of natural beauty. Modeled on the Central Park Conservancy and other successful public-private partnerships, NYRP partners with individuals, community-based groups, and public agencies to reclaim, restore, and develop under-resourced parks, community gardens, and open space in New York City, primarily in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods.

New York Botanical Gardens

New York City Downtown Boathouse. The Boathouse is an all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to providing access to the Hudson River for everyone. We run the following free programs: walk-up public kayaking, kayak trips on the harbor, evening classes, and a winter swimming pool program. We also make our facilities available to the general public for the launching of small hand powered boats.

Fordham is not exceptionally flexible in regards to studying abroad. Fordham allows students to participate in only select programs.
