This course will introduce students to the great figures of the existential tradition, including Soren Kierkegaard, Martin Heidegger, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Jean-Paul Sartre.  In addition to discussing their accounts of personhood and identity, some attention will be given to existential psychology.
