Mr. Edward Wahesh

As Director of the AODE Program, Ed coordinates university-wide prevention, education, and early intervention efforts.  This includes overseeing Screenings and Brief Interventions for mandated clients, advising the Fordham Peer Educators, and co-chairing the Divisional Working Group on Alcohol and Other Drug Education.  Ed is a graduate of Fordham College at Rose Hill and holds a Masters of Science in School Counseling from The University of Scranton, as well as a National Certified Counselor credential.             



Ms. Celeste Demby

Celeste Demby attended St. John's University and received a BS in Communication Arts and Business Administration. She is currently a MA Candidate at New York University studying Higher Education Administration. Celeste is the Graduate Intern for Alcohol and Other Drug Education SBI and BASICS. She is hoping to start a career in residence life upon graduation.


Mrs. Elizabeth Soto

Elizabeth was born and raised in the Bronx. She received her M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University in 2004. Since then she has enjoyed working with a variety of disadvantaged populations. Elizabeth has worked extensively with the homeless, people with mental illness and people with alcohol and drug addictions. She is look forward to beginning her work at Fordham as the Project Coordinator for the Fordham Athlete Alcohol Prevention Initiative.

Ms. Danielle Gennaro

Danielle is a senior majoring in Economics and this is her third year working for the AODE Program. She is the AODE Program liason for the Peer Educators and develops marketing campaigns to increase awareness about alcohol and other drug use and abuse. She is a resident assistant in O'Hare Hall for the Wellness Integrated Learning Community, the President of Peer Educators, and sits on multiple student advisory councils.


Ms. Elizabeth Donohue

Liz is a junior majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Religious Studies. This is her first year working for the AODE Program, where she maintains the website and assists Danielle with marketing campaigns. This is her second year as the Treasurer for the Peer Educators. She is currently the co-chair for the Social Responsibility Class Committee. She is also a liturgical minister at the 9PM Mass and is involved in Global Outreach.


Ms. Melissa Brumer

Melissa is a freshman from Connecticut majoring in political science. This is her first year working for the AODE Program. She is also a varsity cheerleader.
