The staff at the AODE Program provides training sessions covering various alcohol and other drug related issues to administrators and students on each campus. At Rose Hill, the AODE Program facilitates substance abuse education training for the Office of Residential Life, the Peer Educators, the Office of Inter-Campus Transportation, the Office of Student Leadership and Community Development and several other student leadership groups and departments.
Trainings focus on exploring campus social norms and misperceptions, understanding alcohol expectancies, reviewing general alcohol and other drug facts, risk reduction strategies, substance abuse indicators and resources, and confrontation and referral skills.
