Fordham University Dining Services offers commuter, resident, and off-campus students a dining service designed to fit your needs. We provide a quick meal, a chance to spend time with friends and colleagues, and an ideal place to dine any time of the day. Menus are planned with taste, nutrition, and budget in mind. Both campuses have dining service options available to meet the diverse needs of the members of the Fordham community. There are four dining service facilities at Lincoln Center: Ram Café featuring Energy Kitchen, Red Mango and our New York Deli, Simply To Go in the lobby, and the Law School Café now featuring SubConnection.
Dining Plan Options
1. For the transfer resident student: Fordham University requires first-year residents to enroll in a dining plan that allows students the flexibility to purchase meals. All students of Fordham University are welcome to use the dining plan at any of the University dining facilities on all three campuses. Each semester, first year students are credited on their Fordham ID card $800.00 which can be used to pay for meals. All charges are handled through Enrollment Services. If the balance should decline significantly before the end of the semester, students are always welcome to replenish the card’s funds by visiting the Dining Services office. Please keep in mind that there are no refunds. Each student’s balance will carry from semester to semester until graduation. The dining room is intended to complement the full service kitchens available in the residence hall.
2. Your ID Card serves as your meal card, and must be presented to our cashiers for payment on all of your purchases . To start a plan, bring your University ID to the to the Dining Services office located on the Street Level of Lowenstein directly across from Quinn Library. Payment is made by check, cash, or credit card directly to Sodexo, not Enrollment Services.
You may also contact dining services by telephone at (212) 636-6066. For our customers who are not required to participate in a meal plan, we offer a debit-style meal plan or Declining Balance Account.
Declining Balance Account
With a Declining Balance Account, students are exempt from the normal sales tax at the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses on all retail prices. Students using DCB are also able to take advantage of our Off Campus Solutions (Ram Bucks) program, which allows students to use their DCB at selected off campus locations in the Lincoln Center and Bronx neighborhoods.
