Office of Alumni Relations

Development and University Relations

On behalf of the University's community of nearly 170,000 living alumni, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Fordham family! The Office of Alumni Relations endeavors to strengthen the bonds between the University and its alumni by celebrating the Fordham experience and fostering Fordham pride.

Alumni Relations works to develop programs, events and services that advance the mission of the university and enrich the lives of Fordham’s alumni and students. Below are several exciting opportunities for students to become involved with the Office of Alumni Relations.

Work at Homecoming, Commencement, Jubilee Weekend, and the FCLC Reunion

The Office of Alumni Relations recruits dedicated and energetic students to aid in the smooth coordination of fun-filled events for Fordham alumni, families and friends. Jobs include greeting and directing alumni as they arrive on campus, helping to staff events, distributing special giveaways to students and alumni and much more! Students will be paid for working each of these events. Also, working or participating in Homecoming, Commencement, Jubilee Weekend, and the FCLC Reunion will give students the opportunity to meet many Fordham alumni and friends. For more information, or to sign up to work these events, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (212) 636-6520 or email

Participate in the Fordham Mentoring Program

The Alumni and Student Mentoring Program, co-sponsored by the Office of Career Services, provides students with an opportunity to establish a connection with alumni in their profession of choice. The program pairs students with alumni who are willing to share their professional expertise and career advice. Students participating in this program gain professional insight and understanding through job shadowing, one-on-one interaction with mentors, resume reviews and by attending professional and social networking receptions.

The Fordham Fund – Student Call Center

Working at the Fordham call center, the Ram Line, enables students to work for a meaningful and worthwhile cause; calling alumni, parents, and friends of the University, and it is one of the highest paying student jobs available. Students will also have opportunities to earn inventive-based rewards. The Ram Line offers flexible scheduling (Sunday through Thursday evenings) to allow students to work around both their academic and personal schedules.

The Ram Line is part of Fordham University’s office of Development and University of Relations, where students help to raise monetary support for Fordham University, while fostering positive and long-lasting relationships with alumni, parents, and friends. Students work together to make a positive impact for Fordham.
