A Night to Remember
Fordham alumni and students, elected officials and honored guests filled the Waldorf=Astoria Grand Ballroom for the 3rd annual Fordham Founder’s Award Dinner on March 29 honoring author Mary Higgins Clark (FCLC ’79) and retired General John M. Keane (CBA ’66). The gala event raised $1.14 million for the Fordham Founder’s Presidential Scholarship Fund, awarded to exceptional students who are guided by their curiosity of mind and strength of spirit.

Remembering Kitty Genovese
When The New York Times reported that 38 witnesses heard or saw parts of the1964 murder of Catherine 'Kitty' Genovese in Queens, the case became a national phenomenon that generated a groundswell of psychological research. Four decades later, the Genovese murder conjured enough emotion and curiosity to fill Room 109 of McMahon Hall on March 9 for a public forum.
