The University has developed extensive financing options and programs in order to help all students meet the cost of education. These options may be in the form of scholarships, grants, and/or loans, as well as a budget plan. Students interested in different financing options should visit www.fordham.edu/finaid/plan. Each newly admitted student applying for financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and the College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile Form. Students reapplying for financial aid at Fordham are required to file the FAFSA. The Financial Services Office reserves the right to request an applicant, who is reapplying, to complete the CSS Profile form. Please refer to the deadlines listed below for filing dates. These deadline dates do not apply to external aid programs such as the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Family Education Loan Programs, and NY State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). Students who would like additional information concerning financial aid should visit www.fordham.edu/finaid.
Satisfactory academic progress must be maintained in order to continue to receive financial aid. Students who are recipients of Federal Title IV aid programs (Pell, FSEOG, FWSP, Perkins Loan, Federal Direct Stafford Loan and students whose parents are borrowing a Federal Direct PLUS loan) progress as defined in the Fordham Undergraduate Bulletin.
February 1 Financial Aid forms for continuing undergraduate students are available.
April 7 Deadline for continuing students to file financial aid applications.
Deadline for filing FAFSA application.
*Students who miss the April 7th deadline for University aid may still file for federal and state aid, using the FAFSA and New York State TAP application at any time during the year up to June 30th of the academic year.
Inquiries about and payments to a student’s account may be directed to Enrollment Services. If a student is delinquent in paying tuition, a hold is placed on the student’s account and further registration activity will be prevented until tuition is paid in full or satisfactory payment arrangements are made. Student account information is available to students 24/7 via my.fordham.edu. Students are able to make payments, view account summaries, statements, and payment history.
