Online Housing Lottery
2012-2013
Our ONLINE housing lottery process is just around the corner! Housing Lottery is the process in which current residents in McMahon Hall will select their room placement for the 2012-2013 academic year. Current residents who do not participate in the housing lottery process are NOT guaranteed housing for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Please be advised that ALL housing lottery communication will be sent ONLY to your Fordham e-mail account. Information will be sent to you as new updates become available. It is very important that you continue to check your Fordham e-mail account on a daily basis. If you have a personal e-mail address that you prefer, make sure you forward your Fordham mail to this account. Please see below for important updates.
I. Students were sent an email with information about their Expected Graduation Date. If this year is incorrect, you must contact your Academic Dean and have them email your corrected Expected Graduation Date to reslifelc@fordham.edu by Friday, February 24th at 6 pm! An incorrect Expected Graduation Date in our system will affect you in the room selection process.
II. Since this is the first time our housing lottery process is online and it is a new system for all, we encourage you to attend an information session. Information sessions are scheduled for:
- Wednesday, February 15, 2012 @ 2 pm in MCM 205/206
- Wednesday, February 15, 2012 @ 7 pm in MCM 109
- Thursday, February 16, 2012 @ 12 pm in MCM 205/206
- Thursday, February 16, 2012 @ 8:30 pm in MCM 109
- Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 4:30 pm in MCM 205/206
- Wednesday, February 22, 2012 @ 8 pm in MCM 109
- Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 3 pm in MCM 205/206
III. If you believe that you have a medical condition or disability that requires special housing accommodations, you must email mcostantino@fordham.edu to request a medical form by Friday, February 24th at noon!
Our housing lottery packet will be distributed to all current McMahon Hall residents the week of February 13th. Please continue to check your Fordham e-mail account for more housing lottery updates.

Important Dates to Remember: (Dates are subject to change)
PHASE I:
Pay your $200 housing deposit online through my.fordham.edu from February 21st-24th by 5pm. Students who make payments after
Feb. 24th will go straight into Overflow and will NOT be able to participate in the Lottery room selection process.
PHASE II:
Input your personal information and complete the Housing Agreement Information by 6pm
Retention Groups Formation on March 5th and March 6th by 10pm
PHASE III:
Lottery Group formation from March 19th-March 23rd
PHASE IV:
Law Student Lottery: March 26
Junior Student Lottery (Class of 2013): March 27
Sophomore Student Lottery (Class of 2014): March 28
Freshmen Student Lottery (Class of 2015): March 29
