Move In Questions

| When will I move in if accepted? |
The main move in periods are August, January, and May. Your agreement will specify the date your apartment is available for move in. Apartment move in dates very depending on the repairs being done and your school's first day of classes.

| How will I recieve my keys? |
| Once accepted, you will coordinate with the Graduate Housing Manager to recieve your keys. Typically this occurs on the day of move in. We generally do not allow keys to be picked up earlier then the date stated in your offer email. Move in keys cannot be mailed. |

| What should I bring? |
The apartments are unfurnished. In addition to standard furniture, the following is recommended:
- Window air conditioner
- Laundry hamper
- Dishrack
- Shower curtain

| How does move in day work? |
| After you recieve your keys you may move in when you wish. Most residents move in by driving to the buildings and leaving one person with the car as another unloads. This is so that if the car does need to be moved it can, and double-parking tickets can be avoided. With the exception of extremely large vehicles, cars can usually still pass around the parked car. |

| What can I expect the apartment to look like when I arrive? |
The apartment will be empty of any furniture unless arrangements with the previous tenet and the super have been made. The apartments do NOT recieve a deep cleaning in between residents, so most residents prefer to do a quick cleaning before moving all their belongings in. Genrally, apartments are in a broom-clean condition prior to move in.
