Utilities
|
|
How much do utilities cost?
Heat and water are paid for by the building. Electricity, gas, and any other costs are charged directly to the resident by the utility company. For most residents this comes to about $50 dollars a month (more during the summer, less during the winter).

When does the heat turn on?
The heat system is automatic, and turns on when the temperature outside reaches 55 degrees lower. To receive heat in your apartment, make sure your heater valve has been turned in the opening direction.

How much is cable, phone, and internet?
Most residents choose to get their service from Time Warner. For new subscribers the cost is usually around one hundred dollars for all three services for the first year. More specific information is provided to applicants once accepted.
