McMahon Hall Housing: Undergraduate, Law, and Graduate Business Students
At the Lincoln Center campus, all sophomore, junior, senior, law and graduate business resident students live in the 20-story residence building, McMahon Hall. Amenities of McMahon Hall include 24-hour security, study lounges, social lounges, three laundry rooms, and a fitness center. Undergraduate students live in single or double bedrooms in either two-bedroom or three-bedroom apartments. Each apartment is fully furnished, air-conditioned and includes one or two bathrooms, a living/dining room area and a kitchen. Housing rates vary based upon single or double bedroom occupancy. Law students live in single rooms in three or four bedroom apartments. Graduate students live in double rooms in two or three bedroom apartments.
The dimensions are (height) 14 inches in some beds and 20 inches in others. Depth of space is 36 inches deep and 80 inches wide. Varies in specific bed set-up (cannot be changed by student). Individual residents may not bunk their beds. Each bedroom has an Internet jack for each resident, ready for an Ethernet-equipped computer; a telephone line (each bedroom has one phone number); and heating/cooling units. Additionally, cable service is provided in the living room. Housing rates vary based upon single, double occupancy.
McMahon Hall Undergraduate Housing Rates for 2014-2015
Rates are for the nine-month academic year and include all utilities, cable television, telephone service, laundry, and use of the fitness center located on the second floor of McMahon Hall. (ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
Single Room Rate: $17,095 ($8,547.50 per semester)
Double Room Rate: $14,630 ($7,315 per semester)
New Residence Hall
The New Residence Hall at Lincoln Center will house approximately 400 first year students in double and triple bedrooms on twelve floors. The building includes free laundry, two study lounges, one movie lounge, one game lounge, one dance lounge, six “living room” lounges and a large kitchen and multi-purpose seminar room on the top floor. Hard-wired internet access and cable television are available for each student in their bedroom, in addition to wireless connectivity throughout the hall. The building has a comprehensive fire-safety system including sprinklers and control panel with a public address system.
