Living in New York City
When you work at Fordham University, you work in the one of the richest cultural capitals in the world. Just minutes from your doorstep, you'll find Yankee Stadium, Grand Central Terminal, and Broadway. Our Rose Hill campus is next door to the Bronx Zoo; the largest metropolitan zoo in the nation and is adjacent to the 250-acre New York Botanical Garden; home to some of the world's leading biological laboratories. You will also have access to all of Manhattan, which is just a short train ride away.
At Fordham we believe that New York City is a part of our campus, and one of the greatest benefits we have to offer our students. This changes the way we work with our residents. We are constantly engaging them in programs that explore the cultural, intellectual and spiritual diversity of our world. In the past, we have attended baseball games, theater and music productions, museums and lectures and we have sampled New York’s diverse cuisine. Having the opportunity to expose students to these experiences is what makes working at Reslife at Fordham uniquely fulfilling.
