Early Arrival Form

Incoming Freshmen Resident Students
Fall 2013 Opening Day Sunday, August 25th, 2013
Please Note:  Freshmen resident students will not be permitted to move into their housing assignments prior to this date.
 
Upperclassmen Resident Students:
Fall 2013 Opening Day Monday, August 26th, 2013
Deadline to Submit an Early Arrival Request Form Thursday, August 8th, 2013
Please Note:  If resident students need to move into your Fall 2013 housing assignment prior to Monday, August 26th for personal reasons, they will need to submit an early arrival form via this page.  Once submitted, they will automatically receive a confirmation email from the Office of Residential Life to confirm that their submission was processed.  The Office of Residential Life will then contact students via the email address provided on the early arrival form with more information in reference to the status of their request.  If you receive confirmation from our office that your early arrival request has been approved, please be aware that your bursar's account will be charged $25 per day for every day in housing prior to Monday, August 26th.  IF YOUR EARLY ARRIVAL REQUEST IS APPROVED, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO HAVE GUESTS UNTIL AFTER OPENING DAY (Monday, August 26th).
 
Do you need to move into your Fall 2013 housing assignment prior to Monday, August 26th due to obligations associated with a Fordham-affiliated organization, club or athletics team?
DO NOT SUBMIT THIS FORM!  Instead, students must contact their organization or club advisor/supervisor to confirm their approval for arriving earlier than August 26th.  Student athletes that have been instructed to arrive prior to August 26th must contact their team's coach to confirm their early arrival approval status. 
Please Note:  Students will not be permitted to arrive earlier than the date specified by their club/organization/athletics team. 
 
Resident Graduate Students
Incoming graduate students will be permitted to move into their Fall 2013 housing assignments 1 day prior to the start date of their orientation programs.  Such students will need to submit the early arrival form and their bursar's account will be charged a total of $25 per day for arriving early.
 
International Resident Students
DO NOT SUBMIT THIS FORM!  Incoming resident international students must contact the Office for International Services to confirm their approval for arriving early.
