Law & Order: SVU Episode May 1, 2013
| On Monday, April 8, Fordham University's Crew took part in an episode of Law & Order: SVU, scheduled to air on May 1, 2013. The scene is a group of prep school rowers preparing to launch their shells. "This is not the first time something like this has happened," said Head Coach Ted Bonanno. "Throughout the last forty years that I have been coaching in New York City I've had several crews filmed in various commercials, TV shows, and movies. One of the perks about being a student-athlete in New York is that something like this happens all the time." |

| The team shot on location at Rye Beach throughout the morning with the cast of the show. Once the scene was completed they had the opportunity to spend time with both Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino (Detectives Amanda Rollins and Nick Amaro). Another Fordham student, Jeff O'Donnell GSB '14, acted in the episode and joined the team as well. |
