Fordham's varsity men's achieved promising results in its autumn season. Racing began on October 10th with strong performances at the Head of the Connecticut Regatta. Rowing in the championship four and intermediate eight, Fordham's crews were seventh of twenty-six and eleventh of nineteen respectively. Two weeks later, Fordham competed at the Head of the Charles, this time in the lightweight four; posting the fourth fastest collegiate time in their event.

Fordham's next regatta would be October 30th at the Head of the Schuylkill. Two of the top lightweights raced in the open pair, while the rest of the squad focused on the heavy championship eight.

The final event of the fall season, the Forty-second Annual Grimaldi Cup/Fall Metropolitan Championship Regatta was raced on the Orchard Beach Lagoon on Saturday, November 13. Fordham's men and women overwhelmed their nine opponents and easily took home the High Points Trophy along with the Grimaldi Cup for the men’s heavyweight varsity eight.

With great racing results behind them, the men's team looks forward to another successful season this spring. Winter training on the ergs and a twelve-day winter training camp in Miami Beach will prepare the team for another successful run at one of the major collegiate spring championships. Fordham's men have finished first, second, or third at post season national regattas for fourteen years in a row, including last spring's impressive win in the varsity lightweight four at the Dad Vail National Championship Regatta.

This spring Fordham will look to win their fifth consecutive national title at the Dad Vail Regatta.
