What have they been up to...?

In January 2006, Ram Rhythm qualified to compete in both the jazz and hip hop semi finals out of all Division I Dance Teams at the Universal Dance Association's National Competition held in Orlando, Florida!!! The team choreographed both of their routines which is unique for a ranked collegiate dance team. Special recognition to Tara Babajtis, Bridgette Catino, Lindsay Magnani, Jen Costa, Ashley Werner, and Brittany Bento for their fabulous choreography.

The Fordham University Cheerleaders also qualified for semifinals in Florida this year and the Dance Team would like to thank them for all of their support.

In December 2005, Ram Rhythm traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to defend their title as the Liberty Bell Champions at the Atlantic Championship Competition. They won the title for the second year in a row out of all Dance Teams competing. They received a paid bid to compete in the National Finals in the Bahamas this Spring!!!!

In October 2005, the Fordham University Dance Team participated in the Breast Cancer Walk at Central Park. They raised $2250 for Making Strides to Fight Breast Cancer.

The team also volunteered at the Fordham Big Brothers Big Sisters Halloween Party.

In August 2005, the team hosted a private dance camp with the Universal Dance Association right on campus. At the camp, the girls learned new routines and worked on technique and style.

Always Fundraising!!! This fall, the will team fundraise at all the home football games selling tee shirts and candy to help pay their way to nationals.
The team also works with Campus Fundraisers to help cover the expenses of costumes and competition fees.

We are looking for talented dancers with lots of school spirit to perform at all home football and basketball games as well as compete at the regional and national level!

Experience in Jazz, Hip Hop, and Technical Skills. The team practices 3-4 days a week.
