fordham lacrosse General Information
The goals of the lacrosse program at Fordham University are twofold, first and foremost the goal for our athletes is to receive one of the best undergrad educations available and secondly we want our athletes to strive to compete with and against the best players in the country and ultimately compete for an NCLL championship. The heart and sole of the lacrosse program at Fordham lies almost exclusively with the total commitment that the captains bring to our program, it is truly a heart and soul approach. Fordham Lacrosse strives to play one of the toughest schedules in the NCLL representing the Metro Athletic Conference while competing against some of the best Club lacrosse programs in the country. Regularly scheduled opponents include Hofstra, New York University, Columbia, Syracuse, Rutgers, Fairfield and Yale. The lacrosse team competes in the fall with a light schedule of scrimmage and practice and picks up in the spring with league opponents and an annual trip to the Beltway Bash hosted by the University of Maryland.

History
The Fordham Lacrosse team was founded in 1970 and has seen decades of success. The Rams play their home games under the lights at Historic Murphy Field overlooking the Botanical Gardens.
