Message to Prospective Recruits

Experienced skippers and crew with racing experience are invited to consider Fordham as their college choice. Fordham has two campuses in New York City, the arts, commerce, fashion, finance, media, and sports capital of the country. Our Lincoln Center campus is located in the heart of the cultural core of the USA, and our Rose Hill campus, adjacent to the New York Botanical Gardens and the Bronx Zoo, is one of the most beautiful college campuses in the east. The resources of New York City provide Fordham students with a wide variety of internships from which to choose, including companies on Wall Street, Madison Avenue, and the non-profit sector.

If you wish to be added to our list of Prospective Recruits, please contact Head Coach Johnny Norfleet at sailing@fordham.edu with the following information:
  • Name, home & cell phone numbers, snail-mail & e-mail addresses
  • Name and location of high school plus graduation year
  • GPA, Class Rank and SAT or ACT scores
  • Height, Weight & any team sports played in high school
  • Sailing Resume

All communications will be acknowledged promptly.

Thank you for your interest in Fordham and our very successful Sailing program. We encourage you to visit. Official tours may be arranged through the Admissions' Office and if you come on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday during the Sailing season, you are welcome to join us at practice. In the meantime, we hope that you will enjoy the following two videos. The first, which is 4' 45" was produced last year by Alex Wiggins '13. The second, which is 3' 43" was produced in 2010 by Friend of Fordham Sailing, Bridget Walter. GO RAMS!
