College Outreach Prevention Education (COPE)
For many students, college provides an opportunity to experiment with new behaviors in a relatively unregulated atmosphere, which may produce dangerous ground for addictive disorders. Located at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital on Amsterdam Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets, the COPE Program is designed to assist colleges and universities in identifying, assessing and treating students with chemical abuse problems.
