Fordham Athletics
Fitness, Health and Recreation

Fordham Athletics offers fitness classes for students, staff and faculty of the university on a walk-in basis. Classes generally meet in the afternoons and evenings to accommodate regular business schedules and day-time classes. Presently we offer Cardio-Kickboxing, Tennis and Yoga.

Victoria Griffis - Cardio Kickboxing
  Victoria is a sophomore Accounting major in CBA and plans to graduate with her Master's degree in 2011. She has been dancing since the age of 2 1/2 and specializes in ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical. Victoria is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through Aerobics & Fitness Association of America, and is Adult & Child CPR, First Aid, and AED certified through the American Red Cross.
Victoria leads a great cardio workout every Monday and Thursday evening from 7-8 in the Rose Hill Gym. Come and see for yourself why Fordham Kickboxing is a knock-out!
     
Recreation tennis instructor - Sean Kennedy
Sean Kennedy - Tennis
  Originally from Ocean County New Jersey, Sean is a Finance major in CBA. For the past four summers Sean has run a summer tennis clinic in Brick, NJ with over 120 participants each season. Classes ranged in age from 5-years old to adults, and encompassed skill levels from beginner to advanced intermediate. Sean was member of Fordham's varsity tennis team, playing 5th & 6th Singles, and 2nd & 3rd Doubles.
     

Tom Burke - Yoga
  Tom Burke holds his yoga certification through Integral Yoga. He is going into his third year as an instructor at Fordham, all the while teaching high school English by day right here in the Bronx. Look for Tom every Monday & Wednesday evening and Saturday mornings in the Keating Hall Rehearsal Studio B-23 this coming autumn.
