Family Weekend 2009
Rose Hill Campus
November 6th - 8th
*Please note one correction in the Family Weekend Schedule. The Sibling Sleepover screening of Harry Potter will take place Saturday, November 7th not Sunday, November 8th. *
Dear Fordham Families:
The Special Events Committee of the Campus Activities Board along with the Office of Student Leadership and Community Development invite you to join us on the Rose Hill campus for Family Weekend 2009. Each year, Family Weekend is a wonderful opportunity for families to visit with their students and celebrate their accomplishments. The weekend provides the chance for students’ relatives to experience Fordham University firsthand and to interact with faculty, administrators, students, and other Fordham parents. This exciting weekend of activities will include stimulating presentations by faculty, opportunities to explore the neighborhood, a comedy performance, and a harvest festival and much more. You will be immersed in the Fordham community, just like your son or daughter is every day. You’ll discover why we’re proud to be a Ram.
In addition to all of the Family Weekend events, we are also offering a Sibling Sleepover schedule of activities. After your day of fun is done on-campus, your younger sons and daughters are invited to stay overnight with your Fordham student and participate a number of additional activities including an ice cream social, crafts and a movie screening.
We welcome you to take advantage of the many events offered through out the weekend. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to spend time with your student and enjoy the Fordham community!
Your visit to the Rose Hill campus promises to be excited, entertaining and fun! We look forward to seeing you on campus.
Sincerely,
Greg Meltzer, Devon Nagelberg and Robert Skoda
