Welcome | THE McGinley CENTER

The McGinley Center is a member of the Association of College Unions International (ACUI), the National Association of Campus Auxiliary Services (NACAS) and the Association of Collegiate Conference and Event Directors - International (ACCED-I).

The McGinley Center consists of multiple venues that are organized into the hub of campus social activity. Our primary venue is the McGinley Center named in honor of former university president, Rev. Laurence McGinley, SJ.  The McGinley Center was dedicated February 28, 1960.  In addition to managing our other Campus Center facilities (O'Keefe Commons, Collins Auditorium and the Alumni House/Rodrigue's Coffeehouse) we also schedule and support non-academic events in other Rose Hill campus spaces.

The Assistant Director for Campus Center Operations, located in Room 204, coordinates facility use and event service logistics for the Rose Hill campus.  The McGinley Center venues are equipped for business conferences, wedding receptions and gatherings of up to 600 people. Located in the capital of the world, New York City, the McGinley Center offers a solution to any conference and event planner's problems.  Examples and information regarding different available venues are featured on this site.

The McGinley Center at the Rose Hill Campus is the headquarters of a bustling Student Leadership and Community Development program. It hosts many student services such as student organization offices, dining options and several Student Affairs offices. As the "Living Room" of campus, it is a place for students to socialize, attend events, and truly enjoy their collegiate experience.
