New Student Orientation

Dear Incoming Student,
Welcome to Fordham University, the Jesuit University of New York! You will soon embark on a journey that will provide you with endless opportunities here on the Rose Hill campus, within New York City, and beyond. The purpose of New Student Orientation is to make your transition to college life as smooth as and enjoyable as possible. This introduction to our community will provide a foundation for your role as a Fordham student.
As a student at Fordham, you have the opportunity to experience college in a truly unique environment. You are now a member of Fordham's close-knit community, with a beautiful green campus at your feet and the Lincoln Center campus located in the heart of New York City. We hope that you are ready to explore and learn at Rose Hill, as well as in Manhattan.
We encourage you to prepare for your Fordham experience by reading the important information provided to you in our Orientation Newsletters that will be mailed out in early June and by attending one of the Summer Orientation Programs offered on Monday, June 24th, Monday, July 15th or Monday, July 22nd. If you are a Transfer student you are encouraged to attend the session on Monday, June 24th as we will be including Transfer specific sessions on that day. We look forward to meeting you and hope that we will be successful in conveying to you our love for Fordham!
