To register for a Summer Orientation Program, please e-mail orientrh@fordham.edu with the date you wish to attend, the number of people attending, and which college you are enrolled in (Fordham College or College of Business Administration).

Summer Orientation Programs are helpful in informing new students and families about the adjustment to college life.  The formal program, featuring an academic overview presentation, break-out sessions, campus tours, and Q&A sessions with students and administrators, begins at 11 a.m., with lunch provided.

New Student Fall Orientation Program:

Sunday August 31, 2008 / Move In & Welcome to Fordham!

Monday September 1, 2008 / Academic Orientation

Tuesday September 2, 2008 / Student Life Orientation

The three-day fall Orientation program is mandatory for all new students.  Families are invited to campus Sunday for resident move-in and commuter registration and are asked to depart at 6 p.m.  Academic Orientation and Student Life Orientation will introduce new students to different aspects of academics and activities offered at Fordham which will enhance their college experience.

Classes start Wednesday, September 3^rd!

Commuter Barbecue:

Thursday August 14, 2008 / Noon – 4:00PM

This fun filled event allows students to enjoy good food in the great company of other classmates who also call the New York metropolitan area home.  The Commuter Barbecue is sponsored by New Student Orientation, Commuter Student Services, and the Commuting Students Association.

Family Weekend:

October 17 – 19, 2008

During Family Weekend, students invite their families to visit campus and participate in a variety of activities both on campus and within New York City.  Detailed information about Family Weekend will be mailed home in September.
