This fun-filled event allows students to enjoy good food in the company of other classmates who also call the New York metropolitan area home. The Commuter Barbecue is sponsored by New Student Orientation, Commuter Student Services, the Commuter Assistant program, and the Commuting Students Association. Look for more information in Spring 2013!
Summer Orientation PROGRAMS:
Summer Orientation Programs (SOPs) are helpful in informing new students and families about the adjustment to college life. The formal program includes an academic overview presentation, break-out sessions, campus tours, and Q&A sessions with students and administrators. The 2013 SOPs dates are as follows:

New Student Fall Orientation Program:
The three-day fall Orientation program is mandatory for all new students. Families are invited to campus on Sunday, August 25th for resident move-in and commuter check-in. Academic Orientation and Student Life Orientation, held on Monday August 26th and Tuesday August 27th respectively, introducing new students to different aspects of academics and activities offered at Fordham which will enhance their college experience. The schedule from the 2012 New Student Orientation are below for your reference.

Family Weekend:
During Family Weekend, students invite their families to visit campus and participate in a variety of activities both on campus and within New York City. This year, Family Weekend was held on November 9 - 11. For more information visit: www.fordham.edu/familyweekend.
