2013 Rose Hill Senior Leadership Award Nominations are now being accepted!
It is once again time to honor those graduating seniors who have made valuable contributions to the community during their time at Fordham University. In particular, we wish to recognize those students who are leaders among their peers. To this end, the Office of Student Leadership and Community Development requests nominations for the 2013 Rose Hill Senior Leadership Awards, to be held Tuesday, April 23 in O'Keefe Commons.
Senior Leadership Award
Nominees for this award should exhibit:
The ability to lead, organize, empower, and inspire fellow students. A high degree of commitment, creativity, innovation, initiative and integrity. As quality leadership is a way of conducting one’s self and not merely possession of a title or position, candidates need not have held positions of high visibility.
Rev. Joseph P. Fitzpatrick Award
Nominees for this award should exhibit:
A deep passion for and commitment to social justice and awareness within the Fordham Community as well as within the Greater New York community. Father Fitzpatrick valued the importance of these characteristics and the recipient of this award must uphold and exemplify these traits. Such an award demands a com-prehensive presence of social justice in the life of the student and living the Ignatian value of cura personalis.
Please tell us in no less than 200 words why this graduating senior should be honored for contributing to the Fordham community. You must submit a new form for each student you are nominating. All nominees will be required to submit a copy of their resume for consideration of an award.
