Prospective Members,
The Mock Trial Team is looking to expand and build upon our success in the 2009-2010 season. With a strong core of returning members, we have high aspirations and will accept nothing short of a bid to Nationals next year. However, perhaps the most crucial aspect of establishing sustained success is a strong group of incoming members each year. Last year, our incoming class produced several highly ranked attorneys and witnesses as well as our two newly elected Deputy Administrative Captain. We fully expect to continue that trend with another talented, dedicated group this year.
Our organization is highly inclusive and provides ample opportunity to new members. In light of that, new members should not expect to be ignored or marginalized as often inevitably occurs among collegiate student groups. Instead, we rely on new members to prove themselves and step in immediately as witnesses and attorneys.
Mock Trial will provide you with an unrivaled opportunity to build your resume for law school and develop skills of analysis, speaking and writing that are crucial in any field. If you are looking for a student activity in which you will be given the opportunity to be an active, important member, consider joining the Mock Trial Team. We are looking for students who want to dedicate themselves and be challenged, people who are looking to develop valuable skills and be part of a fun, competitive team. Most importantly, we are looking for students interested in really being a part of something unique that can be found nowhere else.
