Post Graduate Volunteer Opportunities
We offer programming to help students discen their next steps after leaving Fordham University. In this role, we help students navigate the many opportunities to engage in full-time post-graduate service or paid non-profit work. In addition to our services, we have also compiled a list of different volunteer programs that are now accepting applications for domestic and international positions.

Amate House
Serve homeless, jobless, at-rish children and youth, elderly, mentally disables, immigrants, refugees, uninsured young mothers and their children, those in need of legal aid, medical aid, or other emergency assitance, in partnership with Archdiocese of Chicago

Amigas de Jesus
Opportunities available in Teaching, social work, youth, ministry, music, nursing and construction at a children’s home in Honduras

Covenant House
Full time service to homeless and runaway youth under the age of 21. Volunteers typically serve in direct care roles as resident advisors, youth advisors, or case managers, but many placements are also available. Volunteers share in community living with 4-6 other volunteers. While founded in the Roman Catholic tradition, we welcome and respect people with all or no faith backgrounds and religious traditions

Two-year commitment to teach, coach and otherwise assist, lead and pioneer at a relatively new high school in east Harlem
Priority given to submitted applications before March 1st

Dominican Volunteers
Community organizing, nurses, case/social workers, teachers/teachers aides, adult educators, environmental educators, peace/justice organizers, advocates for workers/immigrants, youth or Hispanic ministry
Early acceptance: March 1st

Good Shepherd Volunteers

One-year domestic and two-year international placements primarily serving women, children, and adolescents who have been affected by abuse, poverty, or neglect in social service agencies

Inner-City Teaching Corps
As a Corps member the challenges of such a calling are great, but the rewards of service are immeasurable. Our teachers touch the lives of countless children. Equally important, this two-year experience inspires and empowers Corps members whose lives are enriched by making a real difference in the world. Corps members also have the opportunity to get a Master’s from Northwestern University.

Lasallian Volunteers
This Program of the USA/Toronto Region of the De La Salle Christian Brothers provides dedicated, well-trained Volunteers for one or more years of service to schools and agencies of the Brothers whose Mission is to serve the poor. Acting out of faith, rooted in the Gospel, and sharing community with the Brothers and other Lasallians, the Volunteers empower the poor by personalized service primarily through education. Lasallian Volunteers change the world for the better and discover themselves transformed in the process.

Marianist Volunteer Program
Volunteers work in a variety of agencies while living in community. Agency placements include opportunities in community organizing, education, after-school programs, GED classes, construction, affordable housing, healthcare, and social services

Hands-on development work internships, accredited semester abroad, customized group programs with projects in health, the environment, and social and economic development in Peru, Belize, Mexico, India, and Thailand

Tteaching, retreats and youth, youth centers, mission clinics, orphanages, street kids, coaching, urban, rural, suburban villages

November and March for Western US

Response Ability
Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington DC are sites for teachers and co-teachers. Volunteers live with each other and share a faith-based community experience. In D.R. and Chile, female volunteers live with SHCS and share in faith-based community while working in education and social service placements
